The Fantastic "Cedar Events"

In my previous blog I wrote about an amazing evening spent at 116 Pall Mall, London as a guest of Yemi Osunkoya, Couture Designer for Kosibah, in celebration of 20 years in business and the launch of his new collection Kosibah 20.  The night was one of pure luxury.  We were treated to a Champagne and Canapes reception and enjoyed an evening of stunning designs, beautiful music and ballet.   The event company behind this exquisite evening was Cedar Events and I could not resist introducing you to them.

Seyi Olusanya is the passion and driving force behind Cedar Events.  Born in Lagos Nigeria. Seyi moved to the UK in the early 90s and created her Event Design and Production Company after having a successful career in IT.

Seyi describes her passion for her business "I am the creative mind behind Cedar Events aka Creative Director and I love it! I love God, I love life, I love people, I love being a part of the creative process of seeing something unfold from nothing.  I am a dreamer & a visionary.
I have a great interest in the different aspects of what I do but that which keeps me buzzing, which keeps me awake & feels my dreams is the design aspect.
It is such a privilege to be a part of the most intimate events in my clients’ life."

Cedar Events has earned a reputation for turning clients dreams into breath taking reality "We pride ourselves in the originality, exclusivity of our events and providing quality service by paying attention to detail." The professionalism and attention to detail that Cedar Events prides itself on has seen Seyi and her award winning associates working with some of the most prestigious venues in the world, from Claridges Hotel London to The Africa Parlimentary rooms at the House of Commons.

Cedar Events have attracted a client base that includes the Crème de la crème of the Nigeria society from weddings of Kemi Shonekan, daughter of ex-president Chief Ernest Shonekan, Tundun Abiola-Attah, Bola Abiola-Akande daughters of Late Chief M.K.O Abiola, Pastor Agu & Sola Irukwu’s wedding in the Gambia to mention a few.
"Her events cut across cultures because of her interaction with different cultures.
With her clients’ interest in mind, Seyi & her team don’t just think outside the box, they have stepped outside the box to explore………….
The world"

As well as setting up Cedar Events in Nigeria, Seyi is thrilled to be a finalist as one of the Top 10 in the ‘Most Inspirational Wedding Supplier’ category of the InCREDIBLE Wedding Supplier of the Year Awards 2011.

Seyi says about her company "At the end of each event we like our clients to go away knowing that they have been well looked after and have had a great time with their guests." and as a guest for a Cedar Events occasion I can personally vouch for this, the evening was fantastic!
